The phone weighs 198 grams because of the huge battery. It has gorilla glass 3 on the front. It also has a water repellent coating. The display is a huge 6.53 inches IPS LCD with full HD resolution. This phone actually doesn’t belong here as it is priced above Rs 10,000. But, with discounts, it comes down from Rs. 10,000 and even without discounts, it is a sweet deal. You will get a 6.67 inch Full HD IPS display with a punch-hole camera upfront. The display is guarded by gorilla glass 5. The display is quite nice. The power button adds up as a fingerprint reader as well. The rear also is made of glass and the device looks rich and premium.
You will get a snapdragon 720G octa-core CPU and for the price, it is really good. The processor has good performance and good efficiency. The phone has two variants. 4 GB ram and 64 GB storage and a 6GB ram and 128 GB storage variants. Also, you can install an sd car with its dedicated sd card slot. That means you can use dual sims and sd card all at the same time.
The camera is a quad camera setup. The main camera is a 48MP f/1.7 aperture camera. It takes decent pictures. The picture is sharp and detailed. There is also an 8 mp ultra-wide camera. The inclusion of a 5 mp macro lens is a good thing and there is also a 2 mp depth sensor which is used by the camera to make bokeh beautiful. The front camera is a 16-megapixel shooter. Again, the quality is very good for the price.
The phone gives you very good battery life. The phone has an inbuilt 5020 mah battery and it also comes with an 18W fast charger which is a sweet touch. You will get an Android 10 out of the box. MIUI 11 runs on top of Android 10. There is bloatware installed on the phone but some can be removed or uninstalled. It is quite tall. Hence movie watching would be enjoyable. This IPS LCD panel has a resolution of HD+. It is sharp enough under this budget. The phone comes in two colors. Samsung phones are premium phones in the market. I am surprised to see a Samsung smartphone under Rs 10,000 in the market. Galaxy M11 is a phone from Samsung’s M series of affordable smartphones. The phone comes in 3-4 GB Ram variants. The base memory of 3 GB phones has 32GB of built-in storage whereas the 4 GB variant has 64 GB built-in. The rest of the things are identical between the two variants. In both the phones there exist a 3 slot sim and sd card tray.
The phone is powered by a Snapdragon 450 SOC an Octacore A 53 chipset. Nothing special to write home about but it is enough for basic day to day activities. The screen is a 6.4 inch 720P TFT display. Here, IPS and Amoled is sorely missed. The phone is powered by Android 10 software which runs a custom UI, One UI, on top of that. The battery is a huge 5000mah one and the battery life is excellent.
